Does anyone think the Beyonce tickets are TOO expensive?

I am a fifteen year old female who loves Beyonce's music and admires her to the fullest. When I heard about her going on tour, I was excited and dead set on going to see her for the 1st time in concert. However, I was in awe of the riduculous prices (even for the crappy seats).


My thing is, although Beyonce is internationally famous, she should still realize that much, if not most, of her audience is young people of color- people who simply cannot afford $150+ tickets. I think its outrageous. Like I said, I do admire Beyonce, but I think sista needs to remember where she came from. The reason why she rose to the top and became the celebrity she is, is BECAUSE of the fans that paid $50 for a seat. Yes, there are people in this world able to afford her concert, but I have a feeling that many fans, including myself, will end up feeling ostracized due to the crazy prices. Part of being a celebrity is being able to connect and reach out to their fan base, not leaving many out in the cold.

I am looking at it right now....that is upsetting. Who dose she think she is to charge those amounts? Janet Jackson, Prince, etc. didn't even charge that much to go to a concert and they put on a great show. She needs to tone it down a bit...she is making it worse for herself.

Reply:For a NEWER solo artist, $150 is TOO much to pay for a ticket to see her. Fergie did a concert here in Philly that was FREE. I'd much rather support Fergie than Beyonce anyhow.

Reply:Almost all concert tix are too expensive. Most concerts are a waste. The music sounds better on CDs, and you can't really see much from most seats, and all they do is walk around the stage singing, pointing, and spouting nonsense.





I had fun at the Jimmy Buffett concert.... but, that's because it was more like a party than a concert.
Reply:its not like she is asked how much to charge for a show!!! she didnt say, oh i hate my fans, charge them $150, its the demand for her shows, if lots of people want to go , why not make tons of money!

Beyonce is a waste of space.


Perhaps the outrageous ticket price will pay for the lillies she demands in her dressing room.
