be true to yourself. talk about things that have happened to you. make it personal. for the younger audience, you might want to find someone in that age range that you know, and practice your routine on them. don't worry if some of it doesn't seem funny to that kid, that's the best time to find out if something is going to work, before you get on stage. try to find out about the school they go to, the teachers they like, how they're school athletics teams are doing.......

good luck
Reply:Look out for funny things that happen in everyday life, like Peter Kay does when he can make putting 'the big light on' funny.

Watch some funny shows too, like Who's Line is it Anyway where they make things up on the spot.

Hope that helps!
Reply:just tell them funny stories about things that have happened to you like you would do to your friends or family, therefore you will feel comfortable telling them and wont get stuck on lines as much
Reply:How about some comical monologues. Here is a directory where you can find them. http://www.actingcareerstartup.com/comic...
