Does anyone think the Beyonce tickets are TOO expensive?

I am a fifteen year old female who loves Beyonce's music and admires her to the fullest. When I heard about her going on tour, I was excited and dead set on going to see her for the 1st time in concert. However, I was in awe of the riduculous prices (even for the crappy seats).


My thing is, although Beyonce is internationally famous, she should still realize that much, if not most, of her audience is young people of color- people who simply cannot afford $150+ tickets. I think its outrageous. Like I said, I do admire Beyonce, but I think sista needs to remember where she came from. The reason why she rose to the top and became the celebrity she is, is BECAUSE of the fans that paid $50 for a seat. Yes, there are people in this world able to afford her concert, but I have a feeling that many fans, including myself, will end up feeling ostracized due to the crazy prices. Part of being a celebrity is being able to connect and reach out to their fan base, not leaving many out in the cold.

my mom and I got tickets to her concert for next month and were less than $100 each.And it's not even for the crappy section...

not to be mean check out less popular websites and she does not set the ticket prices, her "people" do based on how much they are spending on the tour she has no control i love her too, seriously i have every single album/DVD she's ever put in stores, and she will probaly have a dvd of one particular concert and it usualy costs around $30 or less maybe more buuuuuuuuut u get to see from every angle and its clear and no after concert hearing so it basically rocks
