If you could see ANY children's book made into a movie, which one would you choose?

I think I would choose a mickey mouse book, it's been quite a while since we've seen that guy back on the screen!

The other obviously being The Hobbit, It's geared more towards the younger audience, but feuds between Peter Jackson and New Line Cinema have prevented the film from being made... very sad.

I haven't read alot of children's books, which do you think would be the best?!

Roald Dahl's BFG (Big Friendly Giant). It was made into an animated cartoon once but a live action version would be cool.
Reply:I don't know much about children's books. I aggree with your opinion with Mickey Mouse. I'm guessing they make a movie about his ABC dictionary?
Reply:"Everybody Poops" would make a great movie.
Reply:daren shan
Reply:The naughtiest girl in school by Enid Blyton. I loved that book :)
Reply:most books i adored as a child and even now have already become movies
Reply:any fairy tale......... all made movies by Disney.
Reply:Boy, by Roald Dahl (an autobiography of his childhood). I think he was the J K Rowling of the 1980s - got a lot of kids reading. It was my favourite and I think the best of his books. It has a lot of good stories and humour in it, but also hardship. It might shock some kids these days about how easy their life is today, but I think a lot of viewers could relate to young Roald and be drawn in to his experiences. There are films for The Witches, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Matilda and some other books of his. Maybe The Hobbit will be made one day - the new Indiana Jones movie would have to be about 15 years after the last one, so maybe there is hope it will happen one day. Good question.
Reply:I would choose Snow White, Pinnochio
Reply:Ellen Tebbits...its so cute!=] The city of ember or Artemis Fowl would be cool too.
Reply:Little Red Riding Hood would be crazy if someone made it into a film.
