Anyone think a video game would help hip hop?

i was just thinkin bout this yesterday. but after seeing how much guitar hero and rock band helped rock music get to younger audiences what if rap music had a game like that?? in the rock games they have songs from the 80's 90's and even the 60's (rolling stones)

but i just dont know what kind of game could incorporate hip hop into it like rock can. since rock uses alot more instruments and most songs require singing. and rapping over a mic(karaoke) woulddnt be that hard but some songs would be a challenge

basically what im asking if anyone agrees with me that a videogame that is based on hip hop music would help the industry like it did for rock (just look at itunes top rock songs, alot of them are songs on guitar hero). and i also wanted to see if anyone has ideas for how to make such a game

Anyone think a video game would help hip hop?

Reply:Good Idea =D

Reply:Thumbs Up
Reply:It was called Parappa the Rapper and it revolutionized hip hop as we know. Where do you think Soulja Boy stole his style from?
Reply:There should be a hip hop singit/american idol type game. Not a challenge? Saying 5 sentences continueously without taking a breath is harder than singing at the right octave. Either that or a game playing a young person trying to make it
