Where can I get book reviews for kids?

I have been scouring the internet looking for review on everyday fiction books as they relate to kids, familes, etc.

There are many book review sites, bit does anyone know a site that rates the content of a book and whether it is suitable for younger audiences. I don't understand this. We have rating for movies, but not for books. Are we expected to buy them, and then throw them out if their unsuitable?

Christian based reviews would be good to, but mainly I just want to know what possibly objectionable content in in the book before I buy it.

Any sites that do this?

Thats a link to scholastic's store. They have it all grouped by age, and have parent/editor reviews. As for christian books, VeggieTales are awesome! My son has almost the entire set and they are some of the best kids books out there. Good luck!
Reply:If you look on Amazon they often have people's lists of favorite books (by age groups, etc) and comments about them. That has helped me pick some great ones for my son. Also, you can sometimes actually read a sample of the book to get a feel of how it is...

Hope that helps!
